A CHILDHOOD ON THE STAGE
Born in Cuneo, Italy on 3 July 1974, Luca Pregliasco grew up surrounded by motorsport. His father, Mauro Pregliasco, was one of Italy’s greatest rally drivers of the 1970–1980 era, competing at the highest level with manufacturers including Lancia, Alfa Romeo, Ford, Ferrari, and Porsche.
From his earliest years, Luca was present in the rally service parks, absorbing the culture, strategy, and passion of professional motorsport — an education that no classroom could replicate.
Astra Racing & RAS Belgium
In 1994, Luca joined his family’s motorsport team — Astra Racing in Italy and RAS in Belgium — where he took charge of Team Management for international programs including the World Rally Championship and the Middle East and European Championships.
Working alongside world-class talent across multiple continents, Luca quickly established himself as a meticulous, results-driven team leader with a rare ability to navigate both the sporting and commercial dimensions of professional motorsport.
Astar Services — Monaco
In 2002, Luca founded Astar Services in the Principality of Monaco. The consultancy specialises in motorsport strategy, marketing, sponsorship, and driver and team management — including all financial aspects involved.
With over 25 years of experience in the automotive-motorsport business, Luca is internationally recognised and has direct access to the most important manufacturers, teams, and key players in world motorsport.
Education Through Competition
Luca runs a motorsport driving academy in Europe and America, dedicated to drivers of all ages seeking to improve their style, skills, and professionalism. The most prestigious program is run in collaboration with 4-time World Rally Champion Juha Kankkunen — held annually in Lapland, Finland, featuring top-level ice and snow driving courses for both competitive drivers and corporate incentive programs.
